Dear Leona Valley Families & Community,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year at Leona Valley Elementary School! We hope your summer has been filled with wonderful memories, time with family, and opportunities to enjoy a well-deserved break. As we prepare to welcome our Bobcats back to campus, we are excited for the year ahead and all of the learning, growth, and connections that await.

Leona Valley is truly a special place because of the incredible people who make up this community—our caring staff, amazing students, and supportive families. Since joining Leona Valley, we have been inspired by the pride, kindness, and Bobcat spirit that shines throughout our school. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such a dedicated community and look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with our families.

We are excited to begin this school year with a strong leadership team. Please join us in welcoming our Co-Principals, Mr. Corey Stanis and Mr. Casey Boggs! Mr. Stanis is honored to continue serving the Leona Valley community and looks forward to building upon the strong foundation already established at our school. Mr. Boggs is joining the Leona Valley leadership team after serving as Principal at Joe Walker Middle School for the past two years. In addition to serving as Co-Principal at Leona Valley, Mr. Boggs will also serve as Co-Principal at The IDEA Academy @ Cottonwood and Anaverde Hills Elementary Schools.

Together, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We believe strong schools are built on strong relationships, and we look forward to partnering with our families, celebrating student successes, and continuing to grow together as a community.
